Introduction

Secfense User Access Security Broker is an intermediary layer running between the user and any web application. It provides multi-factor authentication or other user access security without the need of changing the protected application code.

Secfense Broker works as a reverse proxy and intercepts traffic to protected applications while adding its own overlay even before the users' credentials are passed, providing a seamless and user-friendly experience for users while limiting the overhead for administrators to absolute minimum.

The core functionality is contained within the Application Representations (Applications) which contain all the configuration required to properly facilitate second factor authorization and provide a level of usability that would make the day-to-day use of this application comfortable without any sacrifice to the security.
