Operator Chmury Krajowej (OChK) has established cooperation with Secfense, a Krakow cybersecurity company. The partnership allows expanding the OChK offer with a technology called User Access Security Broker, a tool that allows the implementation of passwordless multi-factor authentication in a no-code way, i.e., without coding and without integration costs.
According to the ZBP InfoDok report, in Poland, in the first quarter of 2022, fraudsters attempted 1,915 attacks using intercepted personal data. In any case, phishing authentication data is risky, but in a cloud-based environment where applications are integrated with each other, it can have severe consequences for the entire organization.
– In the cloud, a single authentication can open access to many systems and applications; therefore, effective identity management must be the foundation of organizations’ security – says Krzysztof Góźdź, Sales Manager at Secfense.
Secfense broker in OChK’s offer
The partnership with OChK will help Secfense build greater recognition for the User Access Security Broker in Poland. On the other hand, OChK, thanks to this cooperation, can diversify its offer of services available in the cloud model. Secfense enables the implementation of strong authentication without the need to acquire an IT infrastructure.
Cooperation with OChK will also allow Secfense to offer clients on the Polish market a comprehensive, advanced, and, above all, safe IT environment in the cloud for every business.
– We are glad that we will be able to offer the customers of the OChK a significant improvement in the level of protection of the identity of employees and users of their internal systems and applications. Secfense User Access Security Broker is a convenient, easy-to-implement – because it does not interfere with code – technology that is awarded in competitions and proven in the largest and most demanding institutions, incl. in commercial and cooperative banks – comments Krzysztof Góźdź.
Secfense is the FIDO ambassador, which basically means promoting the open authentication standard FIDO2 whenever we can. At Secfense, we firmly believe that FIDO is the best way to protect organizations against identity-related attacks and, at this moment, is the only method that provides real protection against phishing and credential theft. FIDO is an alternative to traditional authentication methods and is based on the idea of passwordless authentication. Passwordless authentication means replacing passwords with a strong, phishing-resistant alternative. The Secfence broker has already been used by BNP Paribas Bank Polska and many other customers.
